Dr. Stephen White

Dr. Stephen White brings a thoughtful, patient-focused approach to orthodontic care at Maxfield Orthodontics. With advanced specialty training, clear communication, and the ability to provide care in both English and Spanish, Dr. White helps patients and families feel informed and comfortable throughout treatment.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. White earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Utah, graduating at the top of his class. He then completed his orthodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he also earned his Master of Science in Dentistry. This is the same orthodontic program attended by Dr. Blake Maxfield.
Dr. White primarily sees patients at the Maxfield Orthodontics Taylorsville office and also supports patient care at the Cottonwood Heights location. He is proud to provide orthodontic care in Spanish for patients and families who prefer to communicate in their native language.
Background
Dr. White grew up in Colorado and studied Business Management at BYU, where he met his wife, Jenna. After serving a mission in Mexico, he earned his dental degree from the University of Utah and completed his orthodontic residency and Master of Science in Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University—the same program attended by Dr. Blake. Known for his clear communication and patient-focused approach, Dr. White enjoys college football, hiking, home renovation projects, and spending time with his wife and daughter, Macie.
Current
Dr. White currently sees patients at our Taylorsville location and regularly supports care at our Cottonwood Heights office. He works closely with our clinical team to provide clear, personalized orthodontic treatment and is proud to offer care in Spanish for families who prefer to communicate in their native language.
